Celosia Ideas
September 2, 2012
Blog PictureHappy Labor Day Weekend everyone.... been enjoying the late summer harvest of tomatoes and corn from the garden... and the Celosia Trials continue in the greenhouse.

Pictured is a celosia and rose bouquet I got from Pinterest showing green celosia like that which we are trying out.

Celosia cristata, or coxcomb celosia, is a warm-night flower that in our Oregon climate needs to be grown in the greenhouse to get the long stems. It's fuzzy which makes it fun, and very touchable.

Come by the flower market and check it out!!!
